Nevada Legends is a chapter of the National Wild Horse and Burro Show Assoc.
Nevada Legends will be developing and expanding several programs where members can volunteer their time, these programs include a mentoring program, a rescue and rehabilitation center, and a wild horse foster care program to help fund rescued horses. Nevada Legends will also ask members to volunteer their time assisting the Bureau of Land Management with wild horses habitat development.
Nevada Legends will also be helping the National Wild Horse and Burro Show Assoc. with the Reno Wild Horse and Burro Show. Nevada Legends will be putting on clinics to help people and their horses prepare for the show and developing a statewide show circuit. Members can participate in activities such as Play days, camp-out’s, bar-b-ques, parades, community education programs, and fund raising events.
Nevada Legends is funded by membership dues and donations. Members are not required to own a wild horse or burro to join. All members will be invited to all activities whether they own a horse or just want to help preserve the living legends of Nevada. Donations and membership dues will be used to fund all programs that Nevada Legends are developing and maintaining.
All membership dues and donations are tax deductible.
